• Indian troops martyr 3 youth in fake encounter in IIOJK
• AS Dulat says Kashmiris rightly feel betrayed by India
Srinagar, December 20 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred three Kashmiri youth in a fake encounter in Shopian district, today.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the youth were martyred after they were arrested by the troops and later killed in a fake encounter in the garb of a cordon and search operation in Munjh Marg area of the district.
The All Parties Hurriyat Conference spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar condemned India for pursuing the ‘Catch & Kill’ policy in” Kashmir. While paying tributes to the martyrs, the spokesman said the fascist Indian rulers have, once again, revived the process of eliminating youth in staged encounters.
In connection with the International Human Solidarity Day being globally observed, today, APHC leaders Syed Bashir Andrabi, Khawaja Firdous and Farida Bahenji in their statements in Srinagar said that inspired by Adolf Hitler, fascist Indian occupation forces have martyred around 4.5 lakh Muslims in occupied Jammu and Kashmir in the last over 75 years. They deplored that the day is observed to remind governments to respect their commitments to international agreements, but the Kashmiris continue to wait for exercise of their right to self-determination for the past over seven decades. The leaders urged the international community to take notice of torture on the innocent youth, children and the elderly people by the occupation troops in the territory.
The fascist Modi regime has sealed three more properties of Jamaat-e-Islami and deceased top pro-freedom leader Syed Ali Gilani in Srinagar. The order for sealing of the properties including the 17-marla two-story building of Syed Ali Gilani was issued by District Magistrate under draconian Unlawful Activities Prevention Act.
Meanwhile, former head of India’s Research & Analysis Wing A.S. Dulat in a detailed interview admitted that Kashmiris have a good reason to feel betrayed after abrogation of Article 370 in August 2019. He said there are very few Indians who go to Kashmir and try and understand what the Kashmiris really want. After August 2019, he said, the Kashmiri people lost every hope from New Delhi. He acknowledged that Indian Home Minister Amit Shah’s statement about not talking to Pakistan didn’t go down well in Kashmir, and added that the Modi government is missing sensitivity on Kashmir.
