Srinagar, May 04 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred two more Kashmiri youth, today, raising the number of the martyred youth to four in just 24 hours.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the troops martyred the youth Shakir Majid Najar and Hanan Ahmad Seh in the garb of a cordon and search operation in Kreeri area of Baramulla district, today. The locals talking to media men said that the youth were killed in a fake encounter by the troops. Indian troops had martyred two youth during a similar operation in Machil area of Kupwara district, yesterday. The troops also arrested four youth during house raids and searches in Srinagar and Kathua districts.

The All Parties Hurriyat Conference Vice Chairman, Ghulam Ahmed Gulzar, in a statement issued in Srinagar paid glowing tributes to senior Hurriyat leader, Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai, on the eve of his second martyrdom anniversary. He said that Ashraf Sehrai was a symbol of resistance and embodiment of sacrifice. He said Ashraf Sehrai was tortured, persecuted and imprisoned for years but never comprised his stance on the Kashmir dispute and the Kashmiris’ right to self-determination. Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai died in Indian police custody on May 05, 2021.

Meanwhile, the sleuths of India’s dreaded National Investigation Agency along with the Indian paramilitary personnel carried out raids at several places in Baramulla and Kishtwar districts and searched the houses of the persons affiliated with Jamaat-e-Islami Jammu and Kashmir. They also searched the ancestral home of APHC Azad Jammu and Kashmir chapter leader, Zahid Ashraf, in Veerinag area of Islamabad district.

New Delhi-controlled State Investigation Agency has filed a charge-sheet against the illegally detained APHC General Secretary, Molvi Bashir Ahmad Irfani, and two other persons in a fake case registered against them in Srinagar, last year. The SIA in its charge-sheet claimed that the APHC General Secretary and other two persons were involved in activities aimed at intensifying the freedom struggle and circulating funds for anti-India activities in the occupied territory.

Meanwhile, APHC-AJK chapter Convener, Mehmood Ahmed Saghar, in a letter to the G-20 countries asked them to skip the upcoming events of the forum being hosted by the Narendra Modi-led fascist Indian government later this month in Srinagar. He said that the G-20 nations must realize the fact that the Modi regime through this move wants to mislead the world community about the ground situation and cover up its crimes in IIOJK. K
