1. In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian troops in their unabated acts of state terrorism martyred five innocent Kashmiris in the last month of February.
2. According to the data issued by the Research Section of Kashmir Media Service, today, of those killed, two were martyred by the troops in custody. Indian police tortured to death one detained civilian Sonu Kumar at the Nagri police post in Kathua district. As many as 115 youth were arrested by Indian forces’ personnel during 193 cordon and search operations.
3. Over four thousand Hurriyat leaders, activists, youth, students and human rights defenders including APHC Chairman, Masarrat Aalam Butt, Muhammad Yasin Malik, Shabbir Ahmad Shah, Aasiya Andrabi, Nayeem Ahmad Khan and Khurram Parvez continue to remain in different jails of India and the occupied territory.
4. All Parties Hurriyat Conference leaders paying rich tribute to the victims of Zakura and Tengpora massacres on their 33rd anniversary, today, reaffirmed the Kashmiris’ resolve to accomplish the mission of their martyrs at all costs. More than 50 innocent people were martyred and dozens others injured when Indian troops opened fire on peaceful protesters in Zukura and Tengpora areas of Srinagar on this day in 1990.
5. The APHC-AJK chapter at a meeting presided over by the Convener, Mehmood Ahmed Saghar, said the massacres like that of Zakura and Tengpora are part of the ongoing genocidal drive being conducted by India in the occupied territory.
6. The Modi-led Indian regime has started attaching properties of nearly 168 displaced Kashmiri men, who were forced to migrate to Azad Kashmir over the past three decades. Of them, 118 belong to Doda, 36 to Kishtwar and 14 to Rajouri and Poonch districts of the occupied territory.
7. A court of India’s dreaded National Investigation Agency awarded death penalty to seven Muslims on a fake case registered against them by the BJP government in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.
