Srinagar, February 28 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred two Kashmiri youth in Pulwama district, today.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the youth identified as Aqib Ahmed and Ajaz Ahmad were martyred by the troops during a cordon and search operation jointly launched by Indian army and police in Awantipora area of the district.
Meanwhile, one Indian soldier was killed and another injured in an attack in early morning in the same area of Pulwama district.
Illegally detained senior APHC leader Mirwaiz Umar Farooq in a statement issued in Srinagar said after political disempowerment, now the Kashmiri people are facing systematic economic onslaught in terms of eviction and demolition drive, imposition of new taxes and arbitrary dismissals from government jobs at the hands of Modi regime. He urged New Delhi to reverse its all anti-Kashmiris’ measures.
Posters have once again appeared in Srinagar and adjoining areas stressing the people of occupied Jammu and Kashmir to join resistance struggle from a single platform amid the ongoing “Do or Die” situation in the face of existential threat from the Hindutva’s onslaught in the territory.
Body of a 17-year-old boy, Imran Hussain, the second one in less than 24 hours, was found under mysterious circumstances in Kulgam district. Earlier, the body of a 26-year-old Aadil Ahmed Khan was found lying in an orchard in Guddar Herpora area of the same district, yesterday.
On the other hand, an Indian paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force man committed suicide by shooting himself dead with his service rifle in Nowshera area of Rajouri district, today. This incident raised the number of such deaths among Indian troops and police personnel in the occupied territory to 562 since January 2007
