Srinagar, June 05 (KMS): The way Israel is using every brutal tactic to make the Palestinians strangers on their own land, India is exactly doing the same with the people in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. <\/p>\n
According to Kashmir Media Service, raids, crackdowns, cordon and search operations and confiscation of Kashmiris\u2019 properties are some of the major tactics being applied by New Delhi in the territory to subdue the Kashmiris and turn Muslim majority Jammu and Kashmir into a minority. <\/p>\n
A global magazine, Eurasia Review that focuses on events in Eurasia and Afro-Eurasia in an article titled \u201cIndia Follows Israel Model In Kashmir\u201d wrote that the concerns of Indian government\u2019s manipulation of the demography and special status of Kashmir have now proven to be justified, amplifying the distress among Kashmiris. The magazine deplored that \u201cIndia is on Israel\u2019s path towards diminishing Kashmiris self-determination rights by force, and international community is unable to respond.\u201d The article goes on to add that \u201cIndia and Israel are considered the world\u2019s two most pronounced and internationally acknowledged nations involved in human rights violations.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, India\u2019s dreaded Special Investigation Unit arrested 58 persons under the draconian Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act in various districts of the Kashmir valley. A senior police official while confirming the arrests said the SIU had so far attached seven residential houses linked to pro-freedom activists.<\/p>\n
Interestingly, the World Environment Day is being observed across the globe, today, but the Modi regime ignoring the Day\u2019s message is allowing tens of thousands of Hindus to visit the territory in the guise of Amarnath Yatra, threatening its already fragile environment. Not only this, New Delhi is also planning to deploy 300 additional companies of paramilitary forces in the garb of security for the yatris.<\/p>\n
Muslim religious scholars, mashaikh and muftis belonging to all schools of thought at a joint meeting in Srinagar issued a unanimous fatwa, declaring any kind of cooperation with Hindutva organizations including Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, Bharatiya Janata Party and Bajrang Dal \u2018haram\u2019, illegal and against the teachings of Islam. The fatwa cited the earlier jurisprudents of Islam and said \u201ccooperation that is manipulated by a country that happens to be an enemy for the purpose of fragmenting the Muslim Ummah is the kind that is forbidden in Islam. The present day India under Modi, the fatwa states, has turned out to be an-anti-Islam and anti-Muslim country, so cooperation with it by any Kashmiri Muslim is a grave sin and is a transgression against religion.\u201d<\/p>\n
