Srinagar, April 27 (KMS): The incarcerated Chairman of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Masarrat Aalam Butt, has said that the Narendra Modi-led Hindutva government of India is hosting the G20 meeting in Srinagar with the intention to mislead the world about the real situation in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.<\/p>\n
According to Kashmir Media Service, in a message from New Delhi\u2019s infamous Tihar jail, Masarrat Aalam Butt said the Modi\u2019s fascist regime wants to bolster its normalcy claims by conducting the G20 event in the occupied territory. He said such an event in IIOJK is also intended to divert the attention of international community from India\u2019s state terrorism and massive violations of human rights in the territory as well as to give legitimacy to its illegal actions of 5 August 2019. The APHC Chairman asked the G20 countries that instead of accepting Narendra Modi\u2019s invitation, they must ask him to allow foreign fact-finding missions to IIOJK and resolve the lingering Kashmir dispute as per the United Nations resolutions and Kashmiris\u2019 aspirations. He also hailed the recent statement of Pakistan Army regarding Jammu and Kashmir and termed it encouraging and morale-booster for the oppressed people of the occupied territory.<\/p>\n
Indian police arrested two more innocent youth during cordon and search operations in Baramulla and Poonch districts. Indian troops and police have arrested over 50 persons during searches and house raids in Poonch and Rajouri districts in the last one week.<\/p>\n
On the other hand, the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front at different functions held in IIOJK, AJK, Abu Dhabi, Paris and other cities of the world paid glowing tributes to its founder, Amanullah Khan, on the occasion of his seventh death anniversary. The speakers of these events said the contribution and sacrifices of Amanullah Khan for the Kashmir cause will always be remembered.<\/p>\n
Member of British Parliament, Debbie Abrahams, during a debate in the House of Commons expressed serious concern over the human rights violations perpetrated by Indian troops in occupied Jammu and Kashmir. She urged the British government to link its trade agreements with India to its human rights record.<\/p>\n
In India, Hindutva monks have called for violence against Muslims and Christians in the Bharatiya Janata Party-ruled Uttarakhand state. Several Hindutva leaders at a religious gathering held in Chakrata town in Dehradun district of the state made derogatory comments against minorities and called for their economic boycott and even violence against them.
