\n\u2022 NIA raids office of Khurram Parvez, troops continue CASOs<\/p>\n
Srinagar, April 26 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference has reaffirmed the Kashmiris\u2019 resolve to continue their struggle till the settlement of the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the relevant UN resolutions.<\/p>\n
According to Kashmir Media Service, APHC leaders and organizations including Syed Bashir Andrabi, Abdul Ahad Parra, Khawaja Firdous, Zamruda Habib, Yasmeen Raja, Farida Bahenji, Muhammad Aqib, Dr Musaib, Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference and Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League in their statements in Srinagar and Jammu deplored that India was victimizing the people of Kashmir for demanding their internationally-recognized right to self-determination. They also hailed the recent remarks by Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations Maj Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry wherein he stated that India\u2019s oppressive tactics in occupied Kashmir, baseless allegations and false claims cannot change historical facts and disputed status of Jammu and Kashmir.<\/p>\n
APHC leaders, Khadim Hussain, Syed Sibte Shabbir Qummi and Muhammad Yousuf Naqash, in their statements issued in Srinagar strongly condemned the ongoing arrest spree, confiscation of houses, land and other properties of innocent Kashmiris by India\u2019s notorious agencies like National Investigation Agency and Enforcement Directorate.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, NIA raided the office of jailed human rights defender and chairperson of Philippines-based Asian Federation against Involuntary Disappearances, Khurram Parvez, in Dandoosa area of Badgam district. The office, run by Khurram Parvez in the past, had been closed since long. Khurram Parvez is presently lodged in New Delhi\u2019s infamous Tihar Jail after his arrest by the NIA in November 2021.<\/p>\n
As part of anti-Islam agenda of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, Narendra Modi government after changing the syllabus has now instructed private schools and religious seminaries in occupied Kashmir to teach the RSS agenda and Hindutva ideology inspired curriculum. The Indian ploy is aimed at limiting the access of Muslim students to their religion and to learn about the true history of Jammu and Kashmir in the schools.<\/p>\n
On the other hand, Indian troops arrested several youth during house raids in different areas of Sopore town. The troops also continued their cordon and search operations in Srinagar, Islamabad, Pulwama, Shopian, Kulgam, Baramulla, Badgam Poonch, Rajouri, Reasi and Doda districts, subjecting the locals to severe harassment.<\/p>\n
In India, at least ten Indian paramilitary personnel were killed in a blast in Aranpur area of Dantewada district in Chhattisgarh state.
