\n\u2022 Marginalization of Kashmir dispute won\u2019t serve US interests<\/p>\n
Srinagar, March 07 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference has strongly denounced the raids on the houses of Hurriyat leaders and activists by Indian forces\u2019 personnel in every nook and corner of the territory.<\/p>\n
According to Kashmir Media Service, the APHC spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said that India has declared a war on Kashmiris, who are killed day in and day out at the hands of brutal occupation forces. He urged the United Nations Security Council, Human Rights Council and other international organizations to impress upon India to immediately cease the crackdown operations and release all Kashmiri Hurriyat leaders and activists languishing in Indian jails.<\/p>\n
Yesterday, Indian troops raided the residences of Kashmiri women leaders, Yasmeen Raja and Zamruda Habib, in Srinagar and vandalized the household goods. The troops barged into the houses, harassed the family members and took away important documents including house registries and party letterheads with them.<\/p>\n
Two Kashmiri youth were arrested during a cordon and search operation jointly carried out by Indian Army, Central Reserve Police Force and police in Kunzer area of Baramulla district, today. The detained youth were identified as Khurshid Ahmad Khan and Reyaz Ahmad Khan.<\/p>\n
The house of veteran journalist and former bureau head of London-based news agency Reuters, Sheikh Mushtaq, was destroyed in a suspicious incident of devastating fire in Srinagar, today.<\/p>\n
A female Kashmiri student suffered serious injuries after being attacked by a Hindutva goon with a dagger in New Delhi. She was shifted to a nearby health facility for treatment.<\/p>\n
The Chairman of World Forum for Peace and Justice, Dr Ghulam Nabi Fai, in a statement issued on the eve of International Women\u2019s Day \u2018calls for implementation of the Platform of Action adopted by the UN\u2019s Fourth World Conference on Women\u2019 in September 1995 to rehabilitate the women and children of conflict-hit Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
