\n\u2022 IIOJK politicians reject Indian top court\u2019s verdict on delimitation<\/p>\n
Srinagar, February 13 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, complete shutdown will be observed on Wednesday against the brutal policies of the fascist Indian regime led by Narendra Modi to disempower Kashmiri people by evicting them from their lands and properties on one pretext or another.<\/p>\n
According to Kashmir Media Service, call for the strike has been given by the All Parties Hurriyat Conference. The APHC spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said, Modi\u2019s land grab policy is meant to erase Kashmiris\u2019 identity and its Muslim character. He said that India\u2019s 5 Aug 2019 illegal actions are aimed at reviving the so-called pre-Islamic Hindu civilization by settling outsiders on the lands grabbed from the poor Kashmiris.<\/p>\n
Posters have appeared in Srinagar and other parts of the territory urging people to make the strike a success. The posters are pasted on walls and electricity poles and also shared on social media platforms by the pro-freedom leaders and activists.<\/p>\n
A Kashmiri youth who was also brother of a Hurriyat activist was tortured to death during the custody of Indian army in Udhampur district of Jammu region. Arrested a month ago from his house, the youth identified as Shamsuddin was martyred at the Indian Army’s torture center in the district.<\/p>\n
National Conference leaders including Ali Muhammad Saghar, Mubarak Gul, Shameema Firdous, Irfan Shah, Tanvir Sadiq, Ahsan Pardesi, Mushtaq Guru and Salman Ali Saghar in a joint statement issued in Srinagar said that the despair of poor and the rightful landowners is deepening in the face of ongoing eviction cum demolition campaign conducted by the Indian authorities across the occupied territory.<\/p>\n
Speakers including Hurriyat leaders Dr Musaib and Govid Singh Khalsa at a function in Srinagar said that an atmosphere of harassment and fear, created by the RSS-BJP nexus, is driving the Kashmiri youth to drug addiction. <\/p>\n
Indian troops arrested two youth during a cordon and search operation in Litter area of Pulwama district.<\/p>\n
In utter disappointment to the people of occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian Supreme Court, today, dismissed a petition challenging the redrawing of the constituencies by the controversial Delimitation Commission appointed by the Modi regime in the occupied territory. The constituencies have been redrawn in a way that favour the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party.<\/p>\n
