\n\u2022 Uri, Pulwama attacks planned by Modi regime: NC key leader<\/p>\n
Srinagar, January 16 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the eviction of Kashmiri people from their land under new land order introduced by the Modi-led Indian regime have triggered strong condemnations and protests from across the board.<\/p>\n
According to Kashmir Media Service, APHC leaders Engineer Hilal Ahmad War, Khadim Hussain and Syed Sibte Shabbir Qummi in their statements in Srinagar said that the Modi regime was depriving Kashmiri Muslims of their land, houses and other properties to accommodate Indian Hindus in the occupied territory. The leaders urged the international community to give up its criminal silence and take notice of the colonial actions of the fascist Indian government in the occupied territory.<\/p>\n
Aam Aadmi Party and CPI-M leaders Harsh Dev Singh and Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami called upon the Indian government to first evict ministers, MLAs and bureaucrats from the encroachments before harassing the poor and marginalized sections of the society especially Muslims. All Jammu and Kashmir Panchayat Conference, a body of elected Panchayat members, at a meeting led by its President Anil Sharma in Jammu announced to oppose the drive. <\/p>\n
Meanwhile, people staged a protest demonstration in Rajouri town against the new brutal land order and other anti-people policies of the Modi regime. Villagers from Mankote, Sadhyal, Thandikassi and Ninga Nar areas gathered at Mankote in Rajouri town and demanded immediate rollback of the land order. The entire exercise, they said, is meant to settle outsiders on the evicted land to change the demographic character of the territory. Protesters on the occasion raised slogans against the Modi regime and its local proxies.<\/p>\n
It is worth mentioning here that Indian occupation authorities have demolished houses of many Muslim families in several areas of Jammu region in the name of anti-encroachment campaign. Pertinently, in a circular issued on January 9, the IIOJK authorities directed all Deputy Commissioners to ensure 100 per cent removal of so-called encroachments from \u2018state land\u2019 by the end of January.<\/p>\n
India in continuous violation of international laws and conventions has planned to set up a housing colony for serving and retired army officers, soldiers and their families in the heart of Jammu city. The army personnel and their families would be issued the IIOJK\u2019s domicile as per new domicile laws introduced by the regime after the abrogation of special status Jammu and Kashmir in August 2019.<\/p>\n
On the other hand, National Conference leader Mustaffa Kamal , who is brother of party chief Farooq Abdullah, in a statement in Srinagar said that both the 2016 Uri and 2019 Pulwama attacks were planned by the Modi-led Indian government, which experts said were carried out to defame Pakistan. Mustaffa Kamal further said that there were no photos or bodies of the killed soldiers, and that all those who lost their lives were from the Scheduled Caste) categories.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
