Srinagar, October 17 (KMS): India\u2019s Modi regime has activated its Hindutva gangs backed by Indian army and police to carry out murder of civilians to create an atmosphere of terror and fear in occupied Jammu and Kashmir.<\/p>\n
According to Kashmir Media Service, of late, these Hindutva gangs organized in the names of BJP, RSS, VHP, Bajrang Dal and Village Defense Guards are believed to have murdered a Muslim couple in Rajouri district, today. The throat-slit bodies of the couple – Mohammad Azam and her wife Gulzar Begum – were found inside their home in Bagla area of the district. The locals directly pointed fingers at the activists of the Hindutva gangs for the gruesome murder.<\/p>\n
In another incident, a Kashmiri youth Ulfat Hussain died in police custody in the same district. District Magistrate has ordered a magisterial inquiry into the death of Ulfat Hussain in lock-up at Surankot police station.<\/p>\n
Indian forces launched massive cordon and search operations in various areas of south Kashmir\u2019s Shopian district. The operations were jointly launched by the Indian army, Central Reserve Police Force and police in Manihal, Aloora and DK Pora areas of the district. Several people were arrested including one Bilal Ahmad Shah. The police dubbed Bilal as a member of a mujahid organization to justify his illegal detention.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, All Parties Hurriyat Conference leaders, Farooq Tawheedi, Muhammad Saleem Zargar, Yasmeen Raja, Fayaz Hussain Jafari, Syed Sibte Shabbir Qummi, advocate Arshad Iqbal, Mohammad Yaseen Attai, Mir Shahid Saleem, Maulana Musaib Nadvi, Imtiyaz Reshi and Muhammad Iqbal in their statements in Srinagar said that the naked aggression of India and Israel on the Kashmiris and Palestinians have endangered global peace and stability. They said that like Modi regime in occupied Kashmir, the Zionist Israeli regime has made the lives of the Palestinians a hell in their own homeland. The leaders said that both the regimes were employing settler colonial tactics and committing large scale massacres in the occupied territories.<\/p>\n
Srinagar-Jammu highway, the only surface link of the Kashmir Valley with the rest of the world, was closed for traffic, today, due to landslides in Ramban district, leaving over 200 vehicles stranded. The snowfall in the high altitude areas of the valley and rains in plains of Jammu region continued for the second day, triggering cold wave conditions.<\/p>\n
